Presentation attack detection (PAD) is a method that finds and blocks fake biometric samples at a sensor. The ISO/IEC 30107-3 standard defines PAD and its test methods. A presentation attack shows a fake face, such as a photo or a mask, to fool a system.
How SenseCrypt uses it: SenseCrypt is a passwordless identity provider (IdP). The user signs in by face. SenseCrypt runs face matching on-device.
